USA Select Archtop SLATQH

I've been looking at the SLATQH on the web for a while. I really need a hardtail guitar, and I would like to get another Jackson (I have a Soloist w/ EMG's and a Floyd Rose). Does anybody have one of these? How does it sound? I'm looking for a guitar with fairly high output pickups for heavier stuff.
