You're partially right. I wouldn't trust anyone here with a router and my guitar, but then again, those people who would pay that much for a guitar and aren't luthiers would probably also be willing to pay the $30 it would take to have the route done right.... eh? Or do you really think people are that stupid to spend $2000 on a guitar, but wimp out when it comes to having a route done by a professional?

Yeah I agree, I should type what I mean, but I'm half retarded, and when I do a lot of my typing, I do it without looking at the monitor, and then breifly re-read it.

Dude, 1 hum is cool, but 2 is cooler. It's like the difference between having a 6 and 9 inch wang.

I played one of the JSRRs..BLEH! Played like Doo Doo. In the world of wangs, it would be a 3 incher, where as the one hum USA would be a 6er and the 2 hum USA would be a 9 [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

No smart ass 3 hum would be even better comments, it's like, 3 hums would be a cancerous tumor on your wang, you don't want that :P

I don't know, I've been thinking like all night and day and previous night and day, and I just don't think I could do it, I was like, I'll just roll back the volume. A Rectifier with a Duncan Distortion doesn't clean up well at all if you know what I mean.

Anyway, let's just see how it goes.

I might be interested in joining in on this, but a couple of things would be clinchers for me:

- Price. If this is closer to custom shop pricing than USA Select, IMHO it's just not worth it. I'd just rather order my own custom then.

- Rear routed electronics (no "pickguard"). Matt, did they definitely say yes to this at non-custom pricing?

- Color. The two being mentioned most recently (solid black and black w/white bevels) do not appeal to me at all.

How about something new? Something slightly Randy-ish, but different? Like ivory with gold pinstripes? That'd look very cool w/gold hardware. [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img] (Not to mention it's just combining parts of two different USA Select finishes - cost effective.) Alternatively, how about a transparent finish? Raspberry 'burst would look killer on a Rhoads with no pickguard. Body binding would be absolutely SMOKIN', too, but that'd probably push this to be custom pricing, I'm guessing. ...Just some ideas.

Shreddermon I think you are getting too custom with those ideas although very good. It is easiest for a batch of a simple guit.

What you guys have come up with is basically a plain old black RR1 but with 24 frets. How boring for a limited run! Why not something like the one on page 5 with the green striping and gold Floyd. Now that's a sweet guitar that doesn't look like every other RR out there. Something like that I would put my money where my mouth is! Just my $.02
