    NOTP, you can always buy one of Scott's limited editions and refinish with Black color.

      So in essence what this would have to be to get it orderd under the umbrella of USA Select pricing would be a 1 hum 1 single Soloist string thru, 1 volume and a blade three way switch with an oiled neck. All other specs would have to be standard Soloist. Is that correct?

      OK, well, thanks everybody for you effort and opinions. That was fun, but that's too far from my original vision. That would still be a cool guitar, but...
