Finally got my KE-1 that I've been searching for. Trans Black, Kahler, Duncan TB-4 (removed it for an EMG-81), Hang tag says build date of 2/3/98. Mint! Not a scratch on her. I'll send pics if someone can post 'em.

I got the last one Jackson had. It was a demo. I've been seeing quite a few on "the Bay", lately though.

Thanks guys! The pics don't show it, but the Kahler is a smokey (black) chrome. Can't wait to use her recording tommorow.

I was shocked opening the case, usually the tops don't match exactly, but this one is very close.

how are you dealing with the volume knob?...i'm used to having mine really close to the pickup...d.m.

Actually I'm finding some relief in the volume knob being out of the way. My main guitar was an 87 Soloist and the volume knob was a little too close for my taste. Now the Soloist is a back-up and the KE-1 is going to be my main guitar (man is my solist gonna be jealous). LOL! [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
