Jackson Demon

I have a PC1 and was ordering a custom shop PC1 to my specs when I spotted the Demon post on this forum.

I love the body shape of the Demon because I like pointy flowing horns instead of the round Fender style.

So I simply changed the body style to the Demon - only a reverse Demon body. The normal Demon comes with a larger horn on the bottom. That looks odd to me - like a left handed guitar or something.

So here is what I ordered:

Reverse Demon Body
Flamed Maple Top, Mahagony Back
Tiger Burst Body and Headstock
Shaded Edges on Paint Job
Flamed Maple Neck and Fingerboard (Same as PC1)
No Fret Markers - Just Side Markers on top of fretboard
24 Frets
Scalloped 22 - 24 fret
Xtra Scalloped Lower Heel for better access to upper frets
SLS Headstock with No Scarf Joint between headstock and neck
Non recessed Floyd Rose
Duncan Custom 5 with 2 Duncan Hot Rails

Hope it sounds as good as my PC1.

How is this a discussion of a limited run with a dealer? This belongs in the USA/Customs section. Rules for the Limited Edition section are:

This area isn't here for general talk. This area is to discuss Limited custom runs directly with the dealers or have the dealers be able to answer questions about limited inventories directly without adding additional clutter to the main forums ..

There is a dealer that is doing a limited run and needs 5 more people to order and I wasnt quite sure what this particular forum was since there are very few posts here.

Nobody complains about the Ibanez headstock and that is what the SLS is similar to.

An Ibanez headstock looks nothing like an SLS headstock....SLS is 3 per side and the Ibanez is 6+0 with a litle notch cut in the end...

I know about the topic in the USA section about the Demon limited run. I was there right from the beginning with Xenophobe and Dinkyjacksonman.

The difference between this topic you started here and that USA limited Demon topic is that your topic is talking about YOUR custom one-off guitar rather than any sort of Demon batch run. This topic talking about your custom is clearly in the Limited Run aread of the forum which is supposed to be dedicated to batches and trying to get other people to join you on a group order, which is why I brought it up. Really, I'm happy for you that you've ordered your dream guitar, but I just felt that perhaps you posted in the wrong spot.

No worries bro, I was just hoping the admins would have moved it over to the USA section by now. It's no biggie. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Really sounds like a cool guitar though. Reverse Demon... not sure it's been done before until now! And I see you've specified a TB-14 Custom 5 rather than the regular TB-5 Custom which you put in your PC1. That alone may result in a wee bit of a different bridge pickup tone, but both are great pickups anyways.
