That sounds like an SL2, rather than an SL2H. If so, then it would have a Jackson JT-580 bridge, rather than the original Floyd Rose that most USA Jacksons come with. Probably the weakest point of the SL2.

Got my first Jackson
I just bought a sl-2h off ebay and I'm really excited. My main playing guitars up to now has been Ibanez Jems, but I wanted a Jackson for a long time, and this guitar was too good to pass up.
It is listed as a custom sl-2h with a metallic charcoal finish, Dimarzio SD and Duncan Al2, ebony board w/no inlays and ebony binding. The bridge is a Jackson/Floyd License bridge. According to the sn, it should be a 1996.
Can someone give me some info on what bridge is on the guitar and how it compares with either a Schaller FR or Lo-Pro Edge? I would think that Jackson would use OFR on their US guitars.
Thanx for the info,
Peter

OK found it
lhrocker's Soloist
SL-2H Custom?
Slight bit of false advertising there?
Still, a cool USA Soloist for less than 7
