can someone tell the uninformed what the story is behind the whole "NOT" thing? and how many of these he had? i know he had a tune-o-maticked ESP (with a locknut?) i saw from an old picture in '89, i think. wghats the story on these? how many does he have? any other cool info?

He was always Scott 'Not' Ian back in the early days: I'm not sure if it came from Waynes World (Saturday Live, not the films) or not.....

AFAIK it was because before he was well-known, people would call him "Ian Scott", and it was his way of setting the record straight!
