I remember a similar one in my local shop back in the day - same finish but it was tri colored yellow, blue and red i think...congrats. Aren't we all searching for "thee' guitar that did it for you at some point...great Christmas story.

Nice snag! I have an '87 that is identical except for the color--mine is white as fresh snow. A general rule of thumb for Kahlers is this--if they have the heavy bar, they probably have the heavy springs. Mine came standard with both, and from what I've read, it seems most Jacksons from that era came that way.
