• RR1840 has been brought back to glory

Well, she started out as this pawn shop beater...

And...after a Refret, polish, EMG's, Brass being completely recoated and buffed, including the Bridge and strap buttons, New Jackson tuners, a bone nut added, and a killer setup. We get this. A much finer example of what she should look like. I am very pleased how it turned out. MUCH better eh?

    What do ya think?

Charles Scroggins at Legends Music, Tampa FLA. A great luthier.

          Took about a month overall.

Nice work! I noticed it no longer has binding over the frets. I would imagine it would be tough to refret and keep the binding intact. Very clean job, though! The brass looks great. What EMGs did you put in? The bridge appears to be an 81 by the silver logo, but it's a little hard to tell.

81 and 85...Thanks for the kudos! This was much more fun than buying a new guitar, way more gratifying.

Yeah, it is tough, but not impossible. I have two refretted Jacksons with the nibs kept intact.

Jackson refrets guitars with binding over.... or at least they used to.

                        Anyways, awesome!
