I originally wanted to go with the Black Rhoads replica of Chris but I thought it would be bit boring.
I also thought about the Bloodsplatter Star.. then I knew my wife would not accept it since it would look too scary....
Then I discovered Chris was using a White Rhoads with mathching headstock color that ended up being the Zebra with Lion head.
I wanted to get that "IM A ANIMAL" lettering from the Black Rhoads but in Black.

I had to sepcify the specs of the guitar and make sure to have an old style Bridge(like the ones you see from early Rhoads) and also the right Cross inlays like Chris's(or Iommi's).
These 2 are the most important parts.
I knew Jackson would put a regular brdge that would look like Gibson which I didn't want.
And I have seen Cross inlays in different shapes so I had to tell them to get the correct shape one.


The Body is Poplar, Maple neck,Ebony fingerboard with jumbo 22frets, Duncan JB, 1 Vol.

When I was ordering, I was also thinking of ordering a Zebra with Lion Head too but Lee at GMW told me it would take forever since the graphic is full body.
Plus only the Graphic, it would be very expensive(plus ordering 2 CS would kill me..)
So I decided to go with the White one only.

11months of wait is over now.
Now time for ordering another one..Black Star with White Bindings.. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Awesome, indeed! [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] I saw one in GC a couple years ago that was the same color with the same inlays, but it had a pair of EMGs and the regular TOM bridge. I think it was made for Jack Frost and he sold it or traded it in. I heard later that he went and got it back.

Bill, Actually I put my deposit on that Death Angel then Matt was unable to get it from Jackson as he originally told me. [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]
So I ended up using the deposit to pay off the White Rhoads..
My plan was to have the Death Angel, this White Rhoads and a replica of the Zebra with Lion Head.
I would still order a replica Zebra with Lion Head though.. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]
