The serial number is U09019, so I guess that this was a 2001 that nobody wanted.

Very nice and one heck of steal! I wonder if the GC by me has reduced their prices that low I was in about 3 weeks ago and they had a Blue-Green Pearl SL-1 for $799 (no case or trem arm) I almost went for it but I like your deal a whole lot more!
