I just bought a 1989 custom shop Jackson San Dimas Strat with a Star Trek theme that was made in Ontario. The engraving on the backplate reads:

Custom made for Tom McDonough
I was told that it was made by his brother Mark McDonough as a present to Tom. Mark was the
production manager at Jackson at the time. Has anybody ever heard of him and if so does he still work at Jackson??
I also did a search on Tom McDonough and there are plenty of websites stating that he is a pretty well known for writing books on astronomy. I wonder if it is the same person??
