owned one, sold it, regret it(needed the money though)

However, I WILL own one again, but with a different neck finish (oiled, or satin)

For several years, I kept my action as low as possible with no buzz. But, I discovered a few years ago that if you set it just a little higher, you get better control. Specifically, there's less tendency for the 1st-3rd strings (E, B, and G), to slip out from under your fingers when you bend them. It's a vaguely similar principle to a scalloped fretboard.
