Y2KV serial # and case questions.

The serial number on my y2kv is U09225, so if anyone could tell me what that means, that'd be cool. Also, if someone could tell me what the correct hardshell case is for this guitar, since it didn't come with one when I bought it. Thanks a lot!

That serial number means it was made in 2001. The stock factory case is slightly different from the standard Rhoads/King V case (JCC921?) which will fit either a Rhoads or King V. Matt at OSG (see link at top of page) can get you one for the best deal.

I'm also looking for a y2kv case. The rhoads/KV case will not fit. I was told by a jackson dealer that with a little pressure one could make the y2kv fit into the rhoads case. NOT TRUE!!!! I tried it and broke my neck!!! Just joking, hahahaah.... Really, it simply will not fit in that manner.

They use the JCC901FVUSA. I "THINK" they are still available...

Could they fit into a case for a Gibson? I don't know if the dimensions differ.
