2005 Custom Shop price increase?

I'm told that Jackson started a custom shop price increase as of Jan. 1st. Does anyone know exactly how much the increase is? I've been told everywhere from 15-40%. Can any dealers here chime in for certain on this one? Thanks.

I doubt it'll be 40%, if at all. They just jacked up the price a few months ago.

There was a price increase for Jackson with Summer NAMM (8/04). I doubt very seriously they'd do one again so close to the last hike.

If they jack the price up a bit more, then i reckon there are going to be more people put off with spending that much money

I am not aware of another price increase.
So I think you may just have old news a little late ;-)
I think its safe to say that the CS prices are stable.

It better be... but then again, it might be why getting a definitive price for the Demon has been a PITA.

I got the info from a Jackson dealer, Guitar Asylum. They said they would not have any real specifics until after NAMM but that the price hike did take effect Jan. 1st. I really hope its not a huge jump - or maybe this is what was supposed to go into effect last year and is just now happening. It seems like a lot of custom guitar companies are about to price themselves out of the market (anyone seen BC Rich's latest obscene prices?).

Hmm. Thanks. I sure hope this is not true. I've been trying to plot a Custom Shop purchase for this year, but this would throw a large monkey wrench into my plans.
