• What is the proper nut measure for my rhoads?

I have a 90 custom shop rhoads with a schaller kinda half reccesed deal, anyways im needing a new floyd rose and I dont know which one to get. I know its a 1 11/16ths but for a new schaller you select between wide and narrow. One is either the r3 or r 4 here is the link, thank you guys!

It should be an R3 nut if it is a bound neck and headstock.
We must!
We must!
We must increase the bust!
The bigger the better!
The tighter the sweater!
The boys are counting on us!

What is the difference in string spacing, and distance from the edge for the two E strings, with the R3 vs. R4 nuts?

I think R3 is the most common. Where does the R4 show up?

The r3 nut is just a little narrower to make room for the binding on a guitar neck, if i remember correctly.

That's correct. Its about a half a mm difference in overall string width between the two.
