Jackson Usa necks????

I wanto to buy a Jackson Usa guitar and i really like the soloist,the kelly and the king v.Can you compare the necks of those guitars between them and with other guitars(gibson les paul,ibanez,stratocaster,music man)?thanks

go to jacksonguitars.com find the particular guitar and click on specs. there it will give you the thickness measured at the 1st fret and the 12th fret. there you can compare the differrence between models, for the most part that will be the only difference since they mainly use a 1 11/16 nuts size.

The KV2 has smaller frets (medium jumbo).

the kv has the thinest(fastest) neck of the three. i'm not sure but i think the soloist has the thickest neck or its same with the kelly, or then again, it could be the opposite because kellys have a little bit of a balance problem(nose dive). but either way, they're all very thin and fast necks compared to other guitar companies.

I think that that all Jackson USA 24 fret necks feel alot like an Ibanez RG series neck ...........anyone agree ?

I've seen on Jackson's website that Kv and kelly necks are the same and are a bit thinner than tha soloist's neck.Thanks guys for your infos

I have played a 2002 SL1 recently and it had a sizable rounded neck that I just loved, so I ordered an SL2H in Black [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] I love the newer thicker neck on the current Soloists [img]graemlins/notworthy.gif[/img] Jack.

THE KV2 AND THE KE2 DO NOT HAVE THE SAME NECKS, AS I OWN BOTH MODELS. THE KV2 IS MUCH THINNER AND FASTER, IT HAS STANDARD FRETS ALSO, NOT JUMBO,
THE BACK OF THE KV2`S NECK IS THINNER ALSO, ITS THE BEST NECK I HAVE EVER PLAYED.
