H/S/H on a USA Jackson

Were there any Hum/Single/Hum pickup routes on any Jacksons? I think most of them are H/S/S or H/H. I'm sure that there must be a few custom shops models that are like that.

Yeah, Donnie Cretsinger (JCF member and official endorser) has one that way, a black Soloist in the Gallery. I managed to grab a San Dimas Soloist previously owned by Chuckracer and Newc that way. While it's a pro job, the neck single coil route was enlarged to accomodate the humbucker:

Actually, that one is my second HSH Soloist. Donnie got his from me as well.

I didn't modify either one, but they were/are both modded H/S/S guitars.

Hello-

This is my first post here...hello everyone!

This caught my eye right away, as I have a friend with a HSH Soloist hybrid, seen here being used by the other guitarist in his band...

Jackson HSH Soloist

...sorry for the bad shot. Not only is it HSH, but it has a bolt-on preformer neck, slighty wider and fatter than an Ibanez wizard. He picked it up in Thailand for $900 (US I think). Its a really sick axe, and having the single coil does create some really nice tones. All in all, the axe is really sweet. The fretwork could be better, and the wiring was *horible* until it got gutted, but it sings like few other guitars I have played. It came stock with jackson pickups as well, if that gives any clues about what model it is.

Welcome to the JCF, Andrew. While your friend has a cool Jackson there, it's not a Soloist. Find out if he really paid $900 USA for that guitar, if so, he was taken down pretty hard. [img]images/icons/confused.gif[/img]
