$4268 is what that store in Japan was charging for this new custom shop jackson. If you were to order that same one through US dealer, I'd reckon it would be around $2500.

that is defenetly the one from alexi ! 1 pickup 1 volume ! 1 gold floyd ! and the unfinished neck thru thingy ! and of course the green pinestripes. i don't know where i've seen this , i even think at a Cob concert , but he didn't actually use it !

Stunnign guitar, only thing I would change is to bolt the pickup directly into the body (a la EVH). I feel it gives a better tone and looks more ballsy.

well, not the preamp itself, but a small plate that would fit the size of a 9V battery?!

yes, that's a battery cavity. The thing's only got one knob & one switch, why didn't they just mount the battery in the control cavity? Is it that inconvenient to pop the cavity cover to change batteries every six months?

Lev, I'm not sure what happened to the one originally intended for Alexi. I was told there were three made including Alexi's, the one in Japan, and the one I was offered. Sorry I don't know much more than that.

I always ask myself why they don't build those damn things in series that way!!!
24 frets rock and rhoads is by far my FAV body-shape!!
this guitar would be pretty much perfect!!
(even though I'm not that much of a gold fan, but that's a matter of taste.)

I am not such a rhoads fan, although this one is really close to be perfect, I just miss an neck PU. but it looks really cool [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]
