don't think so...but i'm not sure...charvel plates went to 5500 and the sd jackson plates went consideably higher but i think any jackson (bolt-on) with a serial # over approx. 1600-1800 is an ontario made guitar regardless of the plate...somebody who knows please chime in...if nothing else, it's a vey cool guitar though...d.m.

edit...the jackson website dates it as an 89 ontario guitar...btw...you must post pics!!!...lol...

its a neckthrough soloist the serial # is on the fretboard no neck plate
