• question to the european residents

hi there!
I'd just like to know how much it would take me to import a guitar from the US to germany?
what would it be with shipping and all that **** and do I have to pay customs for that?
anyone did so before?

yep. that's it actually!
thank you and best regards///micha

I payed USD 99 in shipping when I ordered my KE2 from the US to Norway, I guess it'll be the same to Germany. You have to pay custom for both the selling price and the shipping cost

hahaha how ****ed is that...Shipping to Oz is 250 USD on the other hand, yet we'd only have to pay like 150usd for customs tax, quarantine and all that ****...

micha, if you want to buy a guitar you have to take the price+shipping and add approx. 20% for taxes and customs (in Germany). But believe me, this is way cheaper that buying a Jackson guitar in Germany. Don't forget that the $$$ - € exchange rates are pretty good right now

yep, I can take almoust 10% off the prices coz of the exchange thingy...

but 20% was worse than I thought. do I get free plecs or strings from germany or what?!? noooope!!
those bastards!!

well, anyway... when I buy in the US I save around 600 bucks at least. still way cheaper.
german guitar stores do something wrong I guess...

but thanks for the info!
