WOW

I think you did, REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY WELL with that guitar, and I'd assume, by tomorrow, you'll have at least a few offers for it.

      Thanks,

I haven't played a Strat head Charvel in years, but when I picked this up, I really thought I had something.

My buddy was very cool, as well. Ed Roman walked into his store and wanted to buy it, but he still held it for me. Cool Dude!

Todd, post pictures and an explanation of the Strathead you bought. I wanted that one badly, it's nice someone here got it...

The big question, is it legit like I think?

WOW!!!!! That was one seriously large Boa.
Great looking axe too. Is it clear coated over to preserve the scales? How does it sound?

                  Damn !! Sweet!
The rout looks correct IMO, but I am far from a Jacskon expert. Regardless - looks like a great axe.

Re: Can anyone help me identify this?

Very cool guitar. Is the neck plate blank? Have you taken the neck off to see if there is anything written in the neck pocket and on the neck heel? It may just be the angle of the photo but the dots look spaced a little far apart...tough to tell though...nonetheless...sweet player for a sweet price!

Re: Can anyone help me identify this?

Well, in the picture it looks like one of the 12th fret markers fell out, but it looks correct to me. A hell of a deal, even if it's got a blank plate. I'm sure it's real, might have been an employee project, and yes, I'm curious to see if there's anything in the neck pocket or not...

Re: Can anyone help me identify this?

                            Hey everyone,

                            Yes, the guitar is clearcoated.

I know from the pic it looks like a fret marker fell out. It did not. It's just the angle.

The guitar sounds incredible-most people I've spoken to say it is an employee project guitar-I'll post a pic of the inside of the neck.

Guitar sounds great-I'm already getting offers on it, and I haven't even decided if I'm selling it!

Here are some pics of the neck pocket and neck.

I was told that Jackson did not use Grovers-this guitar has them, and they were not added on later (No extra holes in the neck)

Whatever it is-Original, Mutt, or some other Mongrel-it plays and sounds like nobodies business! And I really like the 1 3/4 Neck.
