I'm thinking of buying a RR1 ,what kind of stand does this guitar take.Is there any difference between the orignal Rhoads and the RR1,neck shape body design?? Thanks alot

Aren't they just like a regular stand, only without a bottom, but more like a flat verticle pad, and the headstock hangs off of the top part just like it would off of a wall hanger? They make those for all those crazy shaped guitars, like kellys, explorers, warriors, beasts, Vs, etc.

This also came up in the tech section so the reply below is a copy of what I posted there:
I have found two stands that work with my Rhoads guitars. One is the previously mentioned Ultimate stand which suspends the guitar by the headstock. The other is the Quicklok which has the two bottom arms independantly adjustable from each other as well as in height. That allows the arms to be raised enough to keep the Rhoads long fin from hitting the floor and I have it adjusted so that one arm goes directly under the V in the body while the other arm hugs it from the side. Its a high quality stand made in Italy.
I'd still like to find something like a 9 guitar stand that will fit all Rhoads guitars at once [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
