I'm new to Jackson guitars and I'm sure this question has come up before, but what is the difference? Thank you, in advance to everyone who answers my newby question.

A "Strat" is modeled after the full-sized Fender Stratocaster body. A "Dinky" is a bolt-on with a smaller (roughly 7/8) and more "squared" Strat-style body. A Soloist is a neck-through with a Dinky-style body.

Soloists and Dinky's are basically the same concept body shape being 7/8" the size of a Fender Strat body. The main differance is the Soloist is neck through construction and the Dinky is a bolt on. The Strat is basicaly a Strat shaped body with fuller curves and more rounded horns. Just like a Fender Strat.
