Getting Custom Shop Jackson Quote!!

I am working on a CS quote for a new Jackson [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] I found out Fender didn`t raise the prices on the CS Jacksons [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img] I am getting and it may change slightly:

Soloist
All mahogany
natural finish
3 peice neck
black hardware
jumbo frets
22 frets
24.75 scale
Floyd Rose Original Non-Recessed
Volume knob only
SD Distortion pickup only
no binding anywhere
ebony board
Iron Cross inlays
Real Ebony Jackson Logo
Custom Shop in black on the back of headstock
Schaller strap locks
G&G case(hopefully Jackson Badged)


I may change to binding on the neck or neck/headstock and the scale and frets to 24, not sure. I was going to get the EMG 85, but I have a few with that and also love the SD distortion, so it`s cool there. It may change slightly, but you get the idea [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] Jack.

Looks great to me!
What about the neck profile and headstock(reversed or non reversed)?

Mahogany neck and body are also for my next custom shop order I already placed couple weeks ago.

Neck profile will be the current day thicker Soloists profile and non-reversed headstock. It will have the side of body current plug in plate. I may go totally different and get the 25 " scale length, any thoughts on that one? I may still get black bonding on the neck or neck and headstock, mainly to cover the fret tangs. I will keep ya`ll posted!! Jack.

I like the look of a natural Soloist quite a bit. Don't like the short scale, but that's just personal preference.

I think the black binding on neck and headstock is the way to go with that type of finish. See the Korina set from NAMM.

Man, sounds like a cool axe.
You know I was thinking about the binding myself. Maybe its me, but I associate Soloists with a kick ass neck, including the binding.
A nice touch on an otherwise evil shredding machine.
The natural finish and Ebony Jackson logo would certainly be unique.

I think that the neck binding really lets the soloist come into its own for playability personally. Just something about the the smoothness and feel of the edges.

Usually, it's 50% up front and the rest at delivery.

Thanks guys, I am still considering the head and neck binding and it would be black ofcourse!! I am leaning towars the 25 or 25.5 scale as I think the Low E 42 string is a little to loose on the 24.75 scale. If I go 25.5 scale I will get 24 frets, not sure about the 25 scale, probably 24 frets. I like a 46 Low E string on 24.75 scale guitars a little better than a 42, especially for Drop D. I'd say black binding for sure over the fret ends and 25.5 scale and 24 frets. That would be sweet.
