Re: Unusual Jackson Inlays?

    Mustang Shelby Cobra oke

But yeah, Cobra woulda been simpler

Someone needs to post a pic of that old 80's sticker with the Cobra with two big wheels peeling out
    Those'd make killer inlays

Nice Cobras. BTW, a mustang is a HORSE (or a cool car), at least half of you just failed Biology 101

Rare? This one has side dots for the front dots. Never seen that before. Also has painted to match the body side dots, factory.

This one looks like a bag of Doritos got dumped on the fretboard.

Have you seen the inlay on the 25th Jacksons? They're the shape of the guitar (Soloist has a Soloist inlay, KV has a KV inlay, RR has an RR inlay) - pretty sweet

those were some sort of Shannon series, right?

That gray (silver?) mini-dot soloist is awesome! I don't know why, but I've always loved the look of dots with binding (dots without binding = bleh)

I don't mean to puke in your salad or anything, but it looks like the iron cross on the first fret is slightly offset?

WOW! Ask and ye shall receive! Thanks, everyone! Those are some seriously cool inlays.

I was spec'ing out an axe with the Jackson Custom Shop Quote Form (for about the millionth time) and as I automatically selected regular sharkies (+$60) in abalone (+$60), I noticed that some of the unusual ones (e.g., bowties, mirror sharkies, etc.) are the same price ($120), so now I'm trying to think of a more unique alternative, hopefully within the same $120 upcharge. The mirror sharkies sound cool. Odd that I've never seen them before. Has anyone?

Yup. CS Rhoads with Cap'n America and Nick Fury - maple board with mirrored fins (think Hondo fins - facing the opposite direction, not made-of-reflective-glass mirror).
