limited run soloist ala Beck / Vai??????

ok before i even talk to dealer i want to find out if anyone would be interested.
Soloist w/ these specs:
3peice maple neck
OFR non recessed w/proper neck angle
binding neck & headstock(probably)
ebony board w/DOT inlays.
I would also like to get it as close to the SD era spec as possible as far as hardware & logo & routes.
color & pickup config, im open but, NOT pink & NOT 3 singles.

after seeing a coupld of the older Jackson with bound ebony boards & dot inlays i really want one. & i dont think finding an early SD with that is possible or affordable.

You can get correct "Made in USA" placement on the logo but cannot get the trademark symbol .. You'll also need to spell out the proper logo size as Jackson uses a slightly smaller logo now ...

I´m pretty sure that this would be CS only and not qualify for a limited rune because of the 3pc neck and change in neck angle (no wood changes)

I am 100% interested in ordering a custom shop identical to the Beck soloist but I also want that cut pick guard as well. Will they do that? I have heard that Jackson won't make it in past forums.

Zerb is correct.
Even if we do a batch of these, there is no price break from Jackson on Full blown custom orders so you may be better off just doing a
"one off" custom shop..

That actually sound cool.

My ESP Hanneman model has dots and is actually kinda cool looking (other then the logo and the ESP style relief cut in the lower horn, it is a black soloist compl. w/ binding and a crappy newer made kalher).

I was talking to johnnymac about this guitar recently. how many of you jeff beck fans that i sent out the "people get ready" instructional cd to actually learned the song? That's the song that made that guitar and vice/versa.

I learned the "basic" Version Off the cd you sent me. I can play it and make it sound good but I ain't no Jeff Beck

Sadly, neither am i. What I love about that song is his whammy bar work. He does't use it for fireworks, he uses it to add a unique singing character to his solo lines.

I also love his whammy work on Nadia from You Had It Coming. He creates that sitar-like sound.
