• THE DEMON JACKSON

My Brothers:

Placed her (the Black DEMON Jackson) on the "Bay" and got zero bids. Elusive as it was to aquire I would think that she would bring at least a bid -- not a scratch on her upside down gold shark fins and the demon head on the elbow rest of the guitar, feedback welcome.

Very disappointed,

Hal

Not criticizing, but here's 2 things that might have helped in your auction.

1. Less shots of your nipple.
2. Actually listing the guitar in a guitar-related category rather than "Sports:Sports Memorabilia:Trading Cards:Football-NFL:Other".

Otherwise I find your approach unique and refreshing.

Wait a cottin pickin' minute! Hal, I owned that "Demon" and like I told you, it's an import Dinky dude! It's not a Jackson Demon. What it is, no offense, bro, is a cool modded guitar. Some artist applied very good gold sharkfin inlays on top of the originals. It's sort of like a foil sticker. The stickers are so fine that you can hardly feel them. Same with the Metallica "demon" which was custom cut on the butt end. All it is, and again, no offense, Hal, is an import Dinky with some very well applied gold stickers. I bought it for $150 in a pawnshop in Jacksonville, FL, sold it on eBay for $250, and the guy I sold it to then sold it to you. Remember you asked me about it? All's cool, but it's not a USA, and it's certainly not a Demon.
"Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,
Gotta get away from here.
Feelin' like I shoulda kept my feet on the ground
Waitin' for the sun to appear..."

What's with the "built for Kirk H." ? Is this guy trying to scam some 12 year old kid looking for his first guitar?

I have to agree. With all your "knowledge" about Jacksons Hal, I would have thought you could tell that those "inlays" were stickers. That's not even a Demon body is it? It looks more like a dinky body. Thanks for letting us all in on the history Joe as it would have really been ashame if someone recieved that for thier hard-earned money! The whole thing sounds fishy to me.......

Sorry to jump in on this post but...

Woah, That's a nice pic DM. Are those demon guitars hard to get hold of? Do they still make them? I've never seen one before and it looks like my Ibanez 540PII. IF anyone has one for sale please let me know.

Re: THE DEMON JACKSON

As I was searching for Terry Bradshaw rookie cards on ebay, I saw: ELUSIVE JACKSON 24 KARAT GOLD DEMON auction title I thought to myself this is it - THE HOLY GRAIL. This must be FATE.

As I was excitedly squinting my way through the tasteful black on navy item description, I was overcome with excitement after reading about the ergonomics of this guitar. I HATE it when I have to take my eyes away from the fretboard due to lousy positioning of the horns, strings, whammy bar, controls and of course set-up.

People ask me a lot what's my favourite guitar tone. I always tell'em if it's rocking, if it's got balls, if it's FIREY - that's my tone right there. At this point I cannot believe my luck.

Then I was blinded by those stunning 24k gold inlays? My only concern was if the guitar was too neck heavy as a result of the massive amount of gold on that fretboard. I reasoned that if that turned out to be the case, I'd just buy a new neck and use these inlays to gold plate my teeth at www.gangstagold.com.

I only had two concerns with the auction. First off, If it's in good condition, i.e. 10 on 10, how much would it rate if it was in mint condition?
And second of all, I needed a physical to ensure that my heart was fit enough to handle this pricey beast!

However, as you may have noticed I never got around to bidding on it. That's because I've been spending the past week supersizing the pictures 24/7 and fantasizing about that GORGEOUS flowing golden mane, that muscular hairy chest and those delicate fingers belonging to the greek god pictured with the guitar.
