I have an 81/85 EMG's on my 2003 SL2H in BCSB and it sounds really good. So I say go for it! Good luck!

I have 81/SA/SA in the Soloist and 81/85 in the SG and they both kick more than ample amounts of ass. I still have the original pickups, though, in case I want to go back, though I seriously doubt I ever will. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

Okay, got the 81 in and one SA in the neck. Middle isn't wired right now. Might go with just an S in the middle. No rush.

Keeping all stock parts pretty, well packed, and to the side. For later.
