I am replacing the tuning pegs on my jackson soloist. They are so old they are falling off, literally. What a testament to how awsome the guitars are the thing stays in tune like no other. I thought maybe replacing them straght with jackson replacements, then i thought maybe somebody would have a better recommendation.

Well if you're gonna get Jackson replacements, watch out for the price.. they ask a pretty steep amount if I remember right. I had just one little part on a DR3 tuner go missing (the knob kept falling off and one day the little washer went with it and I never found it) and I had to buy a whole new tuning peg, and just for one they charged like 10 bucks plus shipping (This was the Akai days)Comment
