Yes they can, but I suggest waiting till after the NAMM show. Guys from Fender have been racking their brains and were asking us for specs for a 24 fret Rhoads model. Never know if it'll be part of the USA select series line...

I tell ya, Jackson must be the only place that will build you anythign you want, because we get so many people asking "Will Jackson build xxxxxx?"
I mean, I know Carvin won't build the V220 or Ultra V anymore, but what about ESP or Ibenhad? Do they even have a "Joe Public" Custom Shop order form?

The short version: Jackson will build anything if you can pay for it AND if it doesn't involve a lawsuit (i.e. Strathead, life-size Pamela, etc). You want a Zoraxe? They'll build it. You want a 21 fret Double Rhoads with 3 lipsticks and a Bigsby? Cough up the green.

Yep, the custom shop will build you a 24 fret Rhoads. They built one for me in custom Mystic paint with coiled Cobra inlays

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">when is this NAMM? and how long would it take till it gets available on the market if they are about to build one?
I was dreaming of a 24fretted rhoads for years... but the custom-shop prices were always out of my reach...

you don't know any specs, do you? will it have a pickguard? OFR?

greatful for any kind of rumours...

The NAMM show is appx two weeks away. I'm guessing if the 24 fret Rhoads does make it to the USA line, it'll be available as soon as 3 months to be ordered (just a rough estimate). Specs wise, nothing is final yet. Brian from Fender asked us awhile back what specs we'd like to see on the 24 fret Rhoads, (There were about 90 diff spec combinations) so nothing is final till we see it @ NAMM or later

Go to the site Racer X posted. It's in Nashville this summer. Go to the thread "ROLL CALL" in General I think it's under and see if there is anyone available who has tix if you want to go.
