Re: 1986 San Dimas RR custom

Hate to burst everyones bubble here but I just found a SD RR1 black in good shape, for 420.00 plus tax. I sold my PS3T to the store I found it in to put it on Layaway. It's all Jackson parts as well.

Will you guys please knock it off!
Over here,in the third world, if you were unlikely enough to uncover a US Rhoads, it would cost sh*tloads, and probably be pink...

Yup. This stuff is out there, just look around. My 1986 Soloist Custom was in the same ballpark. Yeah, its pink, but it has a Floyd and a 5 way (how often do you see that combo in the SD era). If you can find a cheap SD Jackson, buy it regardless of color.

OH yeah Jackson's are sleepers right now IMO, you can grab a great guitar for decent money, and If you want another great guitar for little money start browsing for mid 80's BC Rich USA stuff....But thats another Board..lol

I think that guy who sold the 1985 for $350 is a complete friggin' idiot!! What does that do to the value of MY 1985 RR1? Oh, wait, nevermind, I sold it.

BTW Ron, are you offering the new guy a beer in that pic? If that's supposed to scare off the new guys, I'll get a picture taken of me with my Ka-Bar in my teeth and strip naked and cover myself with pig guts. And I'll be eating a coconut popsicle!!

Whatever it is, it looks like you were somewhat suprised by it. I once went to a party where a friend of mine was slobbering drunk. He said he would drink any shot that I could make him. So I went in the kitchen, walked right passed all the liquor, and grabbed a bottle of olive oil. You should have seen the look on his face when he drank that!!

Here I am doing what I do best. This was taken in Arizona a few months ago after a nice sunburn on my New England, winterized skin.

Well, I would rather get picked on for my skin than "What the hell is your pinky up for? You must be a fancy lad!"
