neck width comparisions...

Hey. I have a 96 rr-1 and a 96 sl-1 and i have a question about the neck width. I play the rhoads more often and when i go to play the soloist, the neck seems a lot thicker (which is harder to play on for me.)Did Jackson make the necks thicker in those two years, could it just something about the shape of the guitars, or is it just me?? jackson offers a few different neck widths...possibly your soloist has a thicker one called a "boat neck"...d.m.
