hi guys, its been a while...
i really need your help!
im in the process of buying a USA Jackson Dinky from someone...and i need to know how i can see its the real deal.
info i got:
Usa Dinky 1988
Blue crackle finish
Signed by Rover Jackson on the back of the headstock
serial nr: 4724
bridge: licensed by floyd rose
1 hum, 1 single
original case included..

i looked into the almighty gallery and i think its this model:

this one is owned by Steve...

does this sound good?
the serial # sounds a bit strange to me
what would be a good price?

any info would be great!

Serial number sounds alright. Should have San Dimas plate, built in Ontario though. I'd guess 600.00 to 700.00 If It's real clean with original clean case.

No! It will either have the San Dimas California address or Ontario California address on it. How cheap can you get it for. Sounds nice, I have a Lava Crackle myself!

I wouldn't hesitate to buy it! As long as it's not beat to hell that's a good price indeed! Good luck and enjoy!

Yeah, 2274 is my guitar which was made in `88 and is signed by Grover Jackson on the back of the headstock. The neck plate is a San Dimas although it was built in Ontario. As you can see, I have replaced the Jackson JT-6 Tremolo (Black) with a chrome Schaller and fitted a Zero Fret Locking nut. Also, I`ve fitted a couple of Duncans. The Originals were a J80C in the Bridge and a J100 in the neck position. These guitars are superb, a different class to a KE-3. Buy it now!!!!!
Hope this helps
Cheers
Steve

Agreed ... $425 is a very good deal if it's in good shape, particularly for overseas. Buy it now!
