SD Kelly in da house (traded my KE2)

hi guys
yesterday i traded my KE2 for a nice SD Kelly
broke my heart a bit couse i loved my KE2 too (98 transblack, black hardware), sniff
but i think this SD Kelly justifies it, look:








she´s quite clean, only the upperwingtip has real wear
she´s got a slightly bigger body than the KE2 has a 22 fret neck and kahler:
guess what, she´s almost not neckheavy at all
yeah i really love her
seems to be all original
J50B and J50N
only :
the kahler locknut is missing
chrome shaller strap lock buttons instead if the 17mm jackson buttons

serial J2256
WO 7923 ?
pencil initials not to read, cause overwritten/cancelled several times

craftmanship - equal, top notch
SD KE:
+ great fretwork, great creme binding on that aged white, nice ebonyboard, cool mop sharks(one like th other), really great tuners, great laquering
- logo just decal
KE2:
+ great fretwork, great creme binding , nice but not too heavy figured maple top under the transblack, nice ebonyboard, cool mop sharks(quite mixed some heavy some not so figured), great laquering
- no brass shielding plate

playability - SD KE wins
biggest point balance, SD is way better balanced
SD neck slightly fatter but still very easy to play makes a perfect mate to my SD RR
SD has a Kahler, i prefer the feel of the Kahler vs Floyd
still have to set the action on the SD KE a bit but seems like they´re equal in this point too

sound - hard to compare
could not test it much but seems like the J50B (SD KE) matches the axe way better that the TB4JB (KE2)

case - the SD wins
cause it has a g&g (style? how can i tell?) case KE2 came with that really huge plastic thing

paint sheme - equal
white black bevels is rare but transblack with black hardware is rare too

overall - SD KE wins just for beeing a SD

@MD yes its slightly bigger, but no king kelly though
