you fukkin' scored. a 22 fret sd kelly , for the KE2?
name the time and place. it's really a no brainer.
it looks hot as a pistol. nice one.

yeah and he almost gave me some extra bucks, cause the KE2 would sell higher and faster as such an ugly thing...
once again:
praise to the tuners
not only they are rare transitionals
but they are the smoothest tuners i ever felt, its amazing
gave the neck some attention last night
it came out really nice
polished the frets
cleaned and oiled the ebony
set the action to perfection
noticed sth:
do the diff materials age/shrink in diff speeds?
lowest profile has the binding then there´s a real-little step (maybe 1/10 mm? or less) to the ebony
not to see almost not to feel (just noticed it cause i razored the crud off the ebony and it didn´t clean the binding, cause of that gap)
ebony and MOP are same level but the MOP-glue stands out about 1/10 mm again
so i did a bit of leveling with a razorblade before oiling
btw, one thing:
WTF is this trussrod nut?
not the same as any trussrod-key i had at home
its ready now, to show what´s in her
tonight i´ll take her to the rehersals
lets see what this monster can do
@Jim
why did you hate the pups(J50B J50N)?
on a first test, i thought they weren´t not so bad
but only the neck-pup(J50N) sounds strange, maybe its defect
very thin, much highs and low volume
but i never use the neck pup, so its fine
played it last night live
what can i say it´s amazing
but jim you´re right the pups(J50B) can´t compare to the ones in my rhoads(J80C)
...have to plan sth for the future
