Around 2000, DCGL did a Rhoads String-thru LTD, white, just like the others, except it was a string thru. I did talk to Jason, and he says that he had to beg Tim Wilson to do them, but they had to change something in order to get them done. I was just wondering if anyone here owned one. Here is a pic of one.
Not sure if it was from DCGL but there is a member here who owns a NAMM show guitar which looks exactly like the one in the pic above.
I also have seen the pic from MusicZoo website.
MusicZoo shows one these listed as a SOLD guitar and says it was a NAMM one off. Also, I remember Los Music having sold one identical to it but in black. I thought a fellow JCFer ended up with the black one.
Hi All, I've been away for a while health issues. Doin OK now though.I own one, I came up with the string thru change with Jason so we could get them made. There were six and out of the six five were alder with maple necks. I requested that mine be made from mahogony wings and neck. I also requested that the p/u rings be the thick brass instead of the flat gold rings. Here is a pic.
Thanks, I had to have one and luckily Jason was willing to work with me at the time and present the concept to Tim. I believe I took delivery in late 2000.
