  • SL1 Tone Control Circuit

Does anyone know what value capacitor is on rhe SL1 Tone Control Pot? It has a marking on it, but not a microfarad value.

    It's either a 500k or a 250k. I'm leaning towards the 500k. I'm not sure though...

OK, the Tone Pot is 250K, but I am wondering what value the capacitor is.

You probably want to wait for conformation to my answer but I think it is a 47k resistor.

I think it is .1 uF but I am not sure without one infront of me.

I checked 1 I took out of my SL1 (replaced with EMGs), and the part number 2A223J checks out to a
0.022 uF. But the 1 from my KV2 (also switched to EMGs), has part 2A473J and 0.047 uF. Don't know if this really helps though!

A .022 or .047 will get me close. Thanks for the help.
