  • Update on James Hetfield's King V

Anyone who has seen the log has noticed the weird arrows next to the entry for James' King V. The issue has been laid to rest thanks to Russ Parker who found me via the JCF. Take a look at my Soloist homepage at www.jacksonsoloist.com!

        Jim,

I post a shot of some guitars under "a few of my favorite things". If you need more, let me know. I will send them to you. The 2nd on the bottom from the right is the prototype Wraith. Let me know if you are interested. Kayler spyder, 2-81 EMG's.

Jim, was J0440 the pink Soloist I sold to you? And who had it refinished? Is that a GMW "Gears" graphic?

Hi Joe. That guitar pictured is not J0440. J0440 was bought and refinished (unfortunately) by bc guitars.

                  Very good work, Jim.

This has always been one of those things that fascinated me!

                      hi
                      wondered sth:
is Robs "first 1000 of the Jxxxx´s log" the only one that's around?
has somebody seen/owns other logs perhaps?
                      thanks
                      andy

Re: Update on James Hetfield\'s King V

Cool info! Does the "RR" in the bridge slot mean it had a V-plate stoptail-type bridge originally?

Also, anyone know the serial # to Hammett's black Rhoads? I figure he got his before Hetfield.

Kirk's is an 85, I forget the serial number but I know that my 85 Rhoads has a lower number than his.

No, it has a Gibson style stoptail with a Rhoads bridge. Probably the only one made like that back then.

                              I'd like a Rhoads.
