Root Beer PC-1 Arrives! Pics!

It's here! It came yesterday and I haven't had much time with it until now so I decided to take it out in the sun to get some pics. Have had much of a chance to play it, but from the little noodling I've done, it feels real nice. Check out the mahogany! from the pictures in the auction, I thought it was Koa. I know they didn't use Koa on the later models, but Damn! This is the nicest mahogany I've ever seen.

If I ever have a CS Jackson built, that is the finish it will have. Maybe someday my neck-thru Pointy PC will be a reality.

Holy crap that looks amazing. That finish always looks awsome, but as mentioned the sun really makes it stand out nicely

Nice cooler. I bet it keeps things really cold. I also see what you mean with the richness of the color. I have never seen a flower box fade to such a nice patina. ..... nice guitar bro..

Congrats. As nice as the top is, I can't stop staring at the back. The mahogany body is especially stunning in the sunlight.

Really nice score. You're right - that's one of the nicest looking grains in a hunk of mahogany that I've seen. Nice and stripey.
