Well, we all luck into something every once in a while, I guess this is mine for the year. Save for a couple of minor wear spots on one pickup ring, this thing is flawless. Plays VERY diffrerent than other RR's, but in a cool way. Almost feels like a Les Paul. Tons O' sustain.
As a side note, once I had it in hand, I had to ask the owner of the pawn shop the story behind it. The original receipt is in the case, the owner paid $2175 new in 1997, and in fine GC form, they charged him an extra $125 for the case..
It was pawned 3 months ago by a guy the owner knew , and apparently has gotten a bit of a bad habit as of late. Because he knew him, he gave him an extra 2 months to come back, but he never did.
He pawned it for $325, and never cameback. Unbelievable.
Well, whoever he is, he took care of it.
