This guitar is such a fantastic sounding guitar. ...... I regret this one

I talked to Lee this week at GMW. I asked about a black sharkfin neck. He said 1 year wait. So that may help in your decision.

Just draw in the sharkfins with a magic marker!

MOP on natural wood (unless it's ebony or something dark like that) is just not visible enough IMO. Yeah YOU know it's there, but I want the people that are half blind at the back of the room to see it as well
Anyways, I think Kisekae has the answer - neck hum, black fins, and the rest is Golden

Thanks for the rendition Snoogans. I've decided to leave it be, in all its understated glory...

Definitely a badass guitar as is. If you were going to add a neck pup, I'd say go with a single coil. But you could always just add a push/pull switch to the one pup in there now to give you extra versatility. Or just do a piezo bridge with the push/pull like Newc suggested for some kick-ass acoustic clean sounds.

Funny thing is, after playing it for 5 hrs. at rehearsal last night, I came to the conclusion that it sounded & felt so great, there's nothing it can't do {except dive-bombs!}. I used the volume to clean/fatten up the tone and it hung in there with every single genre we played. This thing is ALIVE!

Excatly....... clean it up with the volume knob, and play it. Damn,.... I miss this one

Trust me (I should know :-) no matter how much you think you need a neck pickup, you'll come to regret having added one!
