A while back:
I posted a long message about my Deep Candy Red SL2H that was
probably made sometime in 1996-1997 and the defacing of the
serial that made it virtually impossible to identify.
Tonight I restrung the guitar and took all of the hardware
off of the instrument including the trem, the truss rod
cover, and all of the aluminum covers.
I'll have pictures shortly but under the truss rod cover,
on the bare wood, in pencil is a small line with the
letter M in lower case below it.
It also appears there may be a small paper tag under
several layers of paint inside the trem cavity.

unusual Soloist.
