Wow! That Jackson Logo looks kinda.....GIRLY PINK
Except for that, it looks like a pretty decent score. How much did you backdoor it for?
SWEEEET!!! I prefer the sharkies instead of pihrannas, but she's still a beauty I'm curious how much you landed her for as well
I like that one. So much better with the mini-hums replaced with the regular ones. When you get it let us know how it plays and compares to your other ones.
Hey guys thanks, I'm real anxious to get it. That picture doesn't represent the true color of Amber Burst very well...it's closer to the brown end of the spectrum as opposed to red or.....pink Here is a good representation of its color
The guitar is in fact from Lee Garver @ GMW. The guitar was bought by a fellow forum member from Lee but wanted the mini hum pickup cavaties enlarged so asked Lee to do it before shipping it. Guitars been ready but the dude kinda moved on to something else but to not leave Lee hanging he posted on e-bay on Lees behalf.....this is where I come in. It is an SLATQ-M as Jim stated...identical to an SLATQ-H but w/ minis. As far as sharkfins go...I dig them too but I already have a total of 50 of them....I got sharkfins coming out my ass! I have 2 SLATQH's , 10 on ea. , 1 SLS 20 on it, and 10 or more on my SL2H....I can handle having some itty bitty sharkfins plus I think they are cool because it makes the guitar kind of unique from other SLATQ's and it's got the oiled neck to boot...none of my guitars have that so that will be really cool. I have been looking for this model in this color for a long ass time. I spoke w/ Lee about it and his shop I guess is (or was) close enough to the CS that when he placed an order for this type of stuff he literally went to the CS and selected the tops for the guitars he would order. So far as price is concerned...I paid the dude what he wanted which is more than I paid for my other SLATQ's but considering its uniqueness and the fact I've been searching high and low for this color...well there you go. If you think about it, a new one which has even a small amount of modification done to it has that much dough into it. Bottom line is that I didn't pay too much because if it is what I'm thinking and hoping it will be, it will easily be worth it to me. So far as my other shit is concerned...watch the classifieds for a cleaning house sale in the near future.
