dang it, you are right. i went to the front page of his website, and saw the death notice for dimebag....

i think he was close to death in recent years, i know we had some benefit concerts or something like that. possibly tumor or something like that????

anyway...he's certainly one of the best, and i'm glad to knwo he is still kicking it!

Don't kill James Murphy YET!
He is stil alive and well.
He has his own website and in great shape.
He uses Caparison guitars now.
By the way, he is a killer player.
I love his playing on Testament albums.

Although James has had some past health problems, you might be confusing the death of Chuck Schuldiner, also from Florida, who passed away in December 2001 from complications related to a brain tumor.

James played in Chuck's band Death for a while too. I have both of James' solo CDs and they kick major ass. His work with Testament is killer too!

wow, that was my 100th post...but since i've been putting up all these photos, i don't think kevin's gonna make me a member yet :-) no worries...i just wanted to share these photos. i lost a BIG envelope full of photos of all kinds of charvels...anyone remember OTTO? where is he at now? did anyone else have that charvel jackson VHS tape with all the porn shots of the guitars with the ratt/dokken soundtrack?

i had the same photographer for 15 years, she was really good. it was her cat, he was always around her studio and darkroom...we just cropped him out if it was a good shot!
