• What model is this?

Yes, another one of those 'help me identify this guitar' threads. I'm not exactly sure what this is. Anyone care to help?

260k image, so if you're on dial up it might take a while

- 1997 Ontario
- SLS styled headstock
- Not an SLS (thicker neck and thicker body, also not 'super light')
- Dimarzio Pickups

Thanks in advance.

Off topic... Wow, I think I need to get a cleaner for my digital camera's lens, there is all sorts of weird dots in that image.

Looks similar to an AT2T. I like it!

Now, that I can dig. 24 frets, looks sharp, twin buckers. No pointy headstock (at least it doesn't look like it). If only it had something other than a stop tail on it.

Are you going to be offering that for sale, or is it a recent acquisition? Are those fairly rare? Very cool...

I thought the AT2T is what the Stormtroopers were using on Hoth

Nah, they used AT&T - big difference

AT2T? I thought those were arched top bolt-ons? This looks like a 24 fret SLS.

AT-AT Walkers = All Terrain Armored Transport.

AT&T = Ma Bell.

And, technically speaking, there were no stormtroopers on Hoth. They were specialized snowtroopers.

A Snowtrooper is just a Stormtrooper with specialized extreme cold weather gear. By your logic, the troopers on Tatooine were Deserttroopers. (I am just as geeky!)

Re: What model is this?

Special equipment AND special training. From the Star Wars website:

"A specially-trained division of stormtrooper infantry, the snowtroopers wear customized armor well suited to the climate extremes of ice planets such as Hoth."

And, they're not desert-troopers, but sandtroopers:

That's the thing that gets me.. Its not 'super light.' Perhaps its a 'first edition' SLS? Maybe?
