Ebony sharkies, now you're talking...they go great on a Jackson headstock guitar....I have a GMW coming with ebony fins, black binding and reverse Jackson headstock...CANNOT wait for that to get here....anyway, my fave guitar atm is similar to the PC1, have a squiz at it here. It was fnished late November and quickly became my number one player of all time. I loved my SD1 but it is now second fiddle of my bolt-ons.

I wanted that headstock and was told they couldn't do it anymore. So I went with the new-style PC1 head instead. (The custom shop calls it the "San Dimas" headstock.) Well, wouldn't you know it, a year or so later, the import Charvels are introduced with the very same headstock. [img]graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] And, then, at last winter's NAMM show, the prototypes for the apparently-aborted USA Charvel line are shown and they have it, too. Shreddermon: man, what a bummer...I can see the appeal of a one piece maple neck, and the original SD re-issue I can take, the new one isn't really my style...

You've no idea how that custom makes me smile...watching her be buit, waiting...it was excruciating, but well worth it in the end...

Not a big deal, Gene. Unlike many, I like the looks of the PC1 head just fine. However, I marginally prefer the SD Reissue one. And, obviously, much, much more prefer a real strathead to both.
