    Re: Repulsive Jackson

I dig that guitar. Wrap tails are my fav hardtail bridges. I don't mind the top but it's not my first choice.

I think Brooks had/has a custom PC model in that finish and I love that thing.

I do not think that is half bad (but I still would not shell out eve $2K so I guess I do not leke it that much.

Needs a Floyd. Otherwise, I love it.
please don't put it into words, 'cause I fear what you're thinking

Though I think it should have heiroglyphics on it, or scarab beetles, or cave drawings would be cool too.
But even by itself it's pretty neato, IMO.
Only thing is the wrap around tailpiece (bleh), wish it was a string-thru!

                            Re: Repulsive Jackson

I like the inlays and the stoptail but it would look cooler if it was red. It does have the look of burned skin.
Damn this is an expensive hobby.....

I like the diseased look of the wood, but I prefer to see a slight burst around the edge just to frame it. I hate it when the wood grain just "falls off the edge of the world"..

Also those red inlays should be banned!!

Also, they have spec's it as "one peice top". That doesn't look like one piece to me..

Actually the more I look at this guitar the more I like it. I imagine it to be pretty bloody stunning to see in person.
