There was another similar finish guitar on ebay recently. I could not make myself to take a risk and buy it. But I bet the finish looks awesome in person.

Not SD. It is a flat mount with a recess for pull-ups... probably 89-ish.

thanks everyone, it does look good in person, huge flake...
the pick up i don't know for sure yet as i have not taken it apart but will let you know.
it is an 88 or 89 model year non-recessed floyd with the old SD control layout and it does have the route underneath the floyd for pull backs.......way back, the floyd will be blocked soon....
it look to me that at the end of 88 or 89 jackson had some left over bodies from the early era that they wanted to use up before the switch to the recessed floyd of the 90's, i think 1990 is the first year of the recessed floyd, maybe someone else could chime in and conferm this
