Yeah, I've got a programme from the European leg of the 89 and Headless Tour and Blackie does have an 88 Ltd in many of the studio pics.....

That black one.....does it have black binding around the fretboard? Looks a lot like my SL2

The Yankees guitar is a black SL2H, but with black binding and the NY graphic, so yep, the board is bound....
